Private Equity
The UK private equity industry is the largest in Europe and, worldwide, is second only to the USA. For unquoted companies seeking access to capital, private equity financing offers a medium to long-term source in return for equity. Private equity financing is ideally suited to start-up and developing businesses of small to medium-size and offers management a financial springboard from which to launch a buy-out.
Our Private Equity Group advises on all aspects of private equity, acting for both equity providers and debt lenders (senior and mezzanine) as well as management in relation to buy-out work on both UK and international transactions. We offer a comprehensive service, including:
- Structuring and negotiating all forms of private equity transactions, including start-ups, development capital, MBO, MBI and public-to-privates
- Bank finance
- Employee share and incentive schemes
- Corporate business acquisitions and disposals
- Equity and debt restructurings
- Funds.
