Andrew Goldstone heads the Personal Tax and Estate Planning practice. He advises UK and overseas families and trustees on all aspects of personal tax, wills and trusts - both UK and offshore. He also advises on charitable giving and Lasting Powers of Attorney. His clients span all sectors and ages and include many high profile names.

Andrew also advises entrepreneurs and key executives on available tax reliefs and tax efficient investments. These include Business and Agricultural Property Relief, CGT/Entrepreneurs Relief, Enterprise Investment Schemes and Venture Capital Trusts.

He is the author of several journal articles and books on personal tax and is quoted widely in the national press.

Career History

Andrew trained at Lawrence Graham (now LG) where he spent a further three years in the firm's tax department. He then moved to accountancy firm RSM Robson Rhodes (now Grant Thornton) where he specialised in capital taxes advice for entrepreneurs. In 1998 he became the personal tax and business adviser to property developer Peter Freeman. Soon after, he was asked to set up Freeman Business Information plc where he held the post of managing director for four years. Andrew joined Mishcon de Reya in 2003.
