David Blumenthal advises on UK taxation, in particular the tax implications of domestic and international mergers, acquisitions, disposals, spin-offs, joint ventures, as well as financings (including leasing and securitisations), hybrid instruments and tax products.

David has acted both for some of the largest UK and international companies (including Vodafone, Verizon, Centrica, Merrill Lynch, RBS, Deutsche Bank) on high-value deals and also for much smaller enterprises on their (equally interesting ) deals and requests for advice and structuring assistance. David frequently speaks at conferences and writes for the professional press.

David is a member of the Committee of the British Branch of the International Fiscal Association and also a member of the Law Society International Tax Sub-Committee.
